Our Season
Verdi RequiemThe Mississauga Symphony Orchestra is presenting Verdi's Requiem with MFCC Chamber Choir, as a tribute to Hazel McCallion.
"A unique and towering masterpiece, the Verdi Requiem is filled with a whirlwind of emotions moving through profound loss and ending with a sense of eternal peace. The immensity of Verdi’s Requiem – scored for four vocal soloists, a double choir, and a large orchestra, solidifies it as one of the greatest choral works ever composed. Rarely performed, Verdi Requiem is a concert that is not to be missed." Date: Saturday, November 18th Time: 8:00pm Location: Hammerson Hall, Living Arts Centre Tickets: available at MSO Verdi Requiem Tickets |
